Helped my daughter set this up, she was pretty exciting about getting this and based on the picture on the box, it looked pretty cool. The installation was pretty straightforward, though the software had to update itself with a newer version. Make sure you take the defaults during the initial install, i changed my directory from c:\program files\barbie\.... to c:\barbie\..., there is an error message cause it is looking to uninstall from c:\program files\, this tells me that the original people that designed this were not really involved with the update, that or they used low quality offshore resources for the coding and testing. Those were minor issues, the real issue was the actual product itself. This thing does not draw what the is seen on the screen. The ink that is sprayed does not come out on the fingernails. When I received the new 2009 Hasbro SSC pieces, I was surprised at how durable they seem to be. The plastic is relatively heavy and the toys themselves are pretty substantial. I have high hopes that they should hold up well with play.

*I will say that Hasbro is a bit stingy with the accessories in these smaller playsets - the full-length mirror is actually just paperboard, as is the strawberry rug (I don't think they should include these in the total number of pieces)

**Additionally, if your little gal is notoriously bad at keeping track of small pieces, the accessories in this entire series are TEENY-TINY... no joke! Shipping was very fast. Box was much bigger than item, so item was bounced around a lot and was pretty beaten up. Some of the dolls were flipped around and shoes had popped off. I had to open the box and try to pop it into shape and straighten the dolls before wrapping. The dolls aren't very good quality; they don't move easily and are rather stiff.
